Over the last few years meditation has become an important practice for me, as have grounding exercises where I dedicate time for sensing and releasing tension, letting emotion and energy move, restoring coherence between my thoughts and my body, and finding clarity and balance by focusing on my breathing. I do this as much as I can. Mostly sitting, walking, or standing. It helps me feel more present, connected, and clear.
I love doing this because it is an ongoing effort at making it effortless, a kind of working hard at working less.
It has been a life changer.
The below comes close to capturing what I mean by the continual effort of making it effortless.
