Research & Publications

My research looks at how AI systems reason, behave and interact (with each other and with humans). I am also especially interested on the impact of shared human-AI cognition, judgement, and decision-making.

I work across artificial intelligence, cognitive science, decision theory and epistemology, with particular interests in human–AI interaction, AI evaluation, epistemic robustness, cognitive sovereignty and the behavior of increasingly autonomous systems.

The common question is how we build and evaluate AI systems that are not only increasingly capable, but also intelligible, epistemically reliable and compatible with meaningful human agency. Research topics
