I’m a tech founder, entrepreneur, executive, and investor.
I’m really fortunate to have been part of some incredible companies and teams over the past 20 years, working at what always felt like the forward edge of technological development.
During this time i’ve seeded, built, and scaled products and businesses within startups, multinational organizations, and non-profits.
I’ve mainly focused on harnessing artificial intelligence to build disruptive products and services, across a variety of fields, from Search Engines and infrastructure, to media, automotive, and consumer devices.
I’ve had some wins, and have made loads of mistakes, from which I learned a hell of a lot; about business, entrepreneurship, technology, and people, especially myself.
I have a PhD in Rationality and Interactive Decision Making, and have held research fellowships at Princeton University, the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and the Free University in Berlin.
I am the inventor of 18 US patents, and an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence.
My written work has appeared in Forbes, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Technology Review. I’m currently working on a book, which I hope to finish soon.
I’m married and have three daughters. I spend as much time as I can in nature. I’m curious and energetic, a family man and friend.
