Over the past two decades, I’ve worked at the forefront of technology, building and scaling products and organizations across startups, global enterprises, and non-profits. At the core of my work is a persistent curiosity about how humans discover, organize, and make meaning from information. I’ve pursued this curiosity through both business and entrepreneurship, as well as through scientific, conceptual, and theoretical research—particularly at the intersection of cognitive psychology, philosophy, and artificial intelligence.
I’ve founded and led companies across Search and Data Infrastructure, Media, Automotive, Commerce, and Medical Devices, taking ideas from early research through global-scale deployment and commercialization. In recent years, my work has expanded to include disinformation defense, the identification of influence networks shaping global public opinion, and related cyber activities.
I hold a PhD in Rationality and Interactive Decision Making and have been a research fellow at Princeton University, the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and the Free University of Berlin. I am the inventor of 18 U.S. patents and serve as a Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence at Tel Aviv University. My work has been featured in Forbes, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Technology Review, and I am currently writing a book on meaning, judgment, and human agency in the age of artificial intelligence.
Outside of work, I’m a father of three. I value curiosity, integrity, good energy, and teamwork, and I care deeply about building things that matter.
What is the difference between theory and practice? In theory, not much, but, in practice, quite a lot
