Case Studies of Success and Failure: A Look into Israeli Tech Startups
This course focuses on the dynamics of Israeli tech startups through an engaging mix of lectures, case studies, and workshops. It offers a comprehensive exploration of the startup lifecycle, from ideation and market validation to scaling and global expansion, with a special focus on the unique ecosystem of Israeli technology startups. Students will gain insights into critical aspects of entrepreneurship such as startup essentials, product and technology development, strategic market positioning, operational excellence, and leadership. Through real-world case studies and interactive assignments, participants will learn to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, developing skills in innovation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge and tools to conceptualize, validate, and scale startup ideas, fostering a deep understanding of the factors contributing to the success and failure of tech startups in Israel and beyond.​​

CONTEMPORARY PROBLEM SOLVING (2024-2025)

In an age marked by rapid technological advancements, socio-economic shifts, and a reevaluation of human experience influenced by digital technologies, global interconnectedness, environmental urgencies, and evolving work paradigms, strategic problem-solving is more critical than ever. The aim of the course is to equip students with the analytical depth and innovative thinking necessary to address these complex, border-transcending challenges. The curriculum covers epistemology, cognitive psychology, decision-making frameworks, and management science, with a focus on strategic innovation, sustainability, and the impact of digital evolution. By integrating real-world case studies, the course bridges theory and practice, developing students' analytical and creative thinking skills, preparing them for leadership roles with the ability to devise innovative solutions to today's multifaceted problems.

AI AND THE WORLD OF WORK (2025)

This course offers an in-depth examination of the transformative effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the modern workplace. "AI and the World of Work" provides an analysis of AI technologies and their implications for various industries and organizational structures. Students will explore the integration of AI in improving work processes, enhancing decision-making, driving strategic innovation, and expanding creativity. The curriculum covers various forms of machine learning, data analytics, and AI-driven product and service utilizations and business models, with a strong emphasis on the ethical, legal, and societal impacts of AI deployment.
Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, research, and case studies, students will critically assess how AI is reshaping individual work processes, job roles, workforce dynamics, operational economics, and competitive strategies. The course also features guest lectures from industry experts, hands-on projects, and collaborative workshops to develop practical skills in AI application. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of AI's role in the evolving world of work, preparing them to lead and innovate in an AI-enhanced business environment.
